Need Help Identifying Theft Suspect The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance to identify a subject vehicle captured on video during a larceny. Sometime during the night of December 11, 2014, a U-Haul truck sitting in the parking lot of the Super 8 hotel on Hwy 153 in Piedmont, SC was broken into and several items were stolen including the victim’s mother’s wedding ring and the ashes of her dog that had passed. Other items include a flat screen television and a laptop. The incident was captured on the Super 8’s video surveillance. In the video a subject is seen pulling alongside of the U-Haul truck in a white mid 2000’s model, two door Ford F-150. The subject can be seen taking items out of the U-Haul and placing them in the bed of the F-150. Several minutes later the F-150 leaves the scene. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect or information concerning the vehicle is asked to contact Deputy Dalen Creamer of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office at (864) 260-4400 or Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIMESC (274-6372).
