Need Senior Linux admin on Contract ASAP Exp: 6 + Years JD: Primary skills Unix OS administration -- Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux OS build experience -- Linux / Red Hat Linux OS troubleshooting -- Linux / Red Hat Linux OS tuning -- Linux / Red Hat Linux Secondary skills Sun Solaris and Linux Operating Systems OS networking OS SAN/storage Minimum 6 years of experience administering, monitoring and managing Solaris, and Red-HAT environments. At least 5 (five) years of experience troubleshooting and tuning Solaris/Linux systems down to the kernel level. At least 5 (three) years of experience with performance management At least 5 (three) years of experience with high-availability and Disaster-Recovery Perl/Python and Shell scripting are a plus not a must have Demonstrable skills writing best-practice documentation and solution documents are a necessity. Ability to multi-task and take ownership of issues in a fast-moving environment is a must. Willingness to work in a 24*5 environment in shifts and support after-hours on-call activities is a must.
