Need a book or two to entertain me during the drive on the trip. Was planning on finally picking up a copy of One Hundred Years of Solitude. Any other recommendations? Usual tastes go for Sci-Fi/Fantasy with recent authors being Jim Butcher (Dresden Files) and John Scalzi (Old Mans War). I found Scalzi a little lacking as the story went on. Good characters, good setup, but the type of situation where the heroes adapt and the villains stay slow and witless.
