Special Guest Speaker: Pastor & Comedian James "JT" Taylor This week we are very blessed to have Pastor & Comedian James "JT" Taylor James Taylor Jr. grew up in abuse home with His mother and father. His father was a very abusive man and his mother was never home. He was barley cared for until his grandmother took him in at the age of 12 (right before his 13th birthday). Mildred Thompson raised him to be a God fearing man but he did not come to Christ at the age of 20 in the United States Navy. He started out as a youth minister four over ten years. He spent the last four teaching the F.M. 4:19 classes for the Billy Graham Association. He also joined the N.L.M.I. as a church planter who eventually launched a church called soul central church which merged with The Village Church of Portsmouth (thevillagechurchportsmouth.org) in January of 2011 in Portsmouth Virginia. He pastors as multi-cultural church that love God and people in the City of Portsmouth very much.
