Need a new perspective? Be willing to work for it! What are Rabbit Holes as a metaphor in todays popular culture? A new perspective on new perspectives for all my friends whom are psychonauts. If youre stuck or growing restless, why would you constantly go back to the root of those problems in order to fix it. The idea is to do something different. A hack, an alternative, spiralling out, whatever you call it the idea is finding solutions that break us out of our mundane cycles. Rabbit Holes are a popular phrase for a lead that takes us down the path to alternative lifestyle, or perspective. What if every problem youre stuck in is because of the way your perceive your options and problems? The mind resists this because a predictable world brings security, but those predictable worlds come with naturally predictable problems, and those problems remain until an alternative is sought. The more we resist these natural counter forces, the more we end up with deeper problems. Deeper problems require more complex and cyclical solutions. The more complex the problem, the more we have to redirect our course to find an alternative. Some say LSD is a rabbit hole, and some others say it helps us see rabbit holes, but why? The short answer is that LSD unlocks things in your mind that otherwise require a change in perspective and that alone changes your perspective (the more you resist the changes in your mind the worse your trip). Otherwise, it takes acknowledgement that we need to change our perspective before we can start, and also it take mental effort to work through the mental routines that are detrimental to the clarity we need to perceive the rabbit holes without needing to see them; our own mind are literally the only reason we face so much resistance. The actual amount of time it takes to transcend these routines of mindsets depends on the person and how much they focus, but the rabbit holes actually start there, within the mind. Once you have solved the blockages within you see the blockages on the outside, and this is where the rabbit holes are truly infinite.
