Need a rider for my mare whilst Im away at college. She is a 16.1 grey mare, full ID, 14 years old. She is very sharp , and can be very strong , excitable and sometimes put odd little rear in, or jump forward when setting off cantering, so a very capable confident rider is essential. I am a small lightweight but capable lady rider and I manage her, but I wont put just anyone on her. She isnt dangerous and will jump anything , good in traffic and on the ground, good to shoe, tack up, boxes and travels well in a trailer , hasnt been in a lorry with me or her prev owner but I cant see this being a problem with her. All I need is someone to hack her out and keep her ticking over whilst Im at college through the week and some weekends, option to compete/hunt her is also available. She is a lovely horse with no vices, although can be difficult to catch at times. Good with other horses and at shows, stands at a meet and good with hounds. Please no really heavy riders as she isnt the chunkiest of horses and prefers lightweight riders. Ideally to stay at our yard in Sheffield but can move locally, prefers to live out but can be stabled overnight ie before a show. Pm me for more.
