Need advice: Hi everyone and Happy new year ! Hope all is going well! I kinda need some advice and Im not sure who else to ask. thought u may be able to help. I went to take care of an elderly couple to fill in for my mom for a day about an hour and a half from where I live. It was in halcott center , NY. On my way there I saw a little black mini horse loose running in the road that was so badly in need of a hoof trim it was the worst I have ever seen! The hooves were so long they were curling up and the mini was struggling to walk. I stopped to tell the woman her horse was out ( who clearly made eye contact with me) she waved, knew I was pointing at her horse, and ignored me! I found out later she is also one of the nurse caretakers of the elderly couple I was taking care of that day. My mom knows her, brought up the situation to her and all she said was that it was her sons horse not hers!!! Im beyond frustrated for this poor little mini and need to know if there is anything I can do to get it out of this situation. I told my mom next time she sees this lady to ask if shed be willing to part with him ( and apparently they have another horse too which I have not seen) I just cant stand knowing the poor thing is being neglected like that!
