Need legal advise. Im leaving my current property to move to another. My landlord (shares house with me) agreed to renting me a place [room] (no contract, agreement through texts and there is evidence of me sending her money through online banking). Upon move in day, I was not aware I had no door and that her living style would impact my sleep and overall enjoyment, She has on several occasion invade my privacy and been on my property without my consent. She refuse to give me back by safety depot or my last. She claims She must find another person and she will return my money. She doest seem to be negotiated with or comprisable. She accused me of breaking her laundry machine, so she bought a new one (because of her accusation immediately upon my first use I only used her laundry machine a total of one time because she later claimed it was broken after she used it two times). If here machine was broken, wouldnt i have to pay for the repairs. And now she claims that my last month rent is what I owe her, when clearly if i did break her machine I would have paid for it when it broke. I dont believe this is happening and I want to know how I can use the law against her. If I cant use the law against her, I at least want to prevent her fro getting other tenants or in some way destroy any kind of credit she has so shell fail in this market. When some decides to rent a place in anyway, there should be standards met. This is situation is not P.C as you can see, Im a very nice person. I just feel abused by what this women is doing, its not fair. So, far I dont know whats the best thing to do. Logical Advice is Welcome and Appreciated
