Need some advice... My daughter started a job in Athens 6 weeks ago. The restaurant she works for waited a month to pay her and when they finally paid her the check was $26. This week she got another check that should have been over $230, but it was for $36. Tay just received an email from her bank that the check came back as NSF and her bank took the $36 back out and charged her $12 for it bouncing. Really? Penalize the victim. So, its not worth hiring an attorney for $300, but I refuse to let him get away with this. Who can I report this too? She and 3 other girls have quit. All due to non payment. Some of the girls needed the $ for their bills and groceries! This is a very popular restaurant in the heart of downtown. Its busy all the time. How can he not have funds when he doesnt pay his help? Jerk!
