Need some advice for new born puppies: My maid informed me that a community dog in her basti (which her family feeds) has given birth to 7 puppies day before. The dog and her puppies are outside and her father has made a straw roof for them (they also sweetly made some hot halwa for the mom though im not sure that was wise). Im scared that those pups may not survive this cold. she is willing to help them within her means but needs advice. 1-What should the mother dog and the new born puppies be fed..relatively inexpensive. 2-What kind of inexpenisve shelter shoule be made for the pups. 3-She wants to know when she can get the mother dog sterilised. 4-what other essential precautions should she take..as much as within her time and means.
