Need some help in locating homeless or ppl in need of food. I want to make some sandwiches to bring to them...Hopefully every day. I found a company disposing of some bread for sandwiches and figured If we added our lunch meat we can help feed some ppl that need help. If you know of a homeless person please let me know where so I can map out a route. I appreciate any help. My inspiration. I left the house yesterday with $80 in $20s and a $1. I came out from having breakfast and handed $1 to a person who was standing on 19 and Spring Hill Dr who actually was looking for a tent cause they were homeless. Realized after giving that person the $1, that wont help them much but it was somewhat of a kind gesture. Then Came out of the movies with my son and a vet was asking for money on 50. I didnt have change so I gave him a $20. The man walked away blessing me and crying. Even made me emotional and had to fight back the tears that are in my eyes right now. Saw another person in need of money...gave what I had left to her. It stopped me from wasting money on crap my kids ask for and showed my kids to be compassionate. I am no saint and dont praise me. I wish I could do more. When my family didnt have money for food I was lucky to have my parents around to help an feed us. I bless whatever higher power there is out there for them and all the ppl in my life that helped us. Moral of this story...Show some compassion for ppl who are less fortunate. AND be on the look out for the less fortunate and let me know on this post or in PM of someone who can use some food. Thank you. PS..Is that person still looking for a tent on 19 and spring hill drive I have a tent and want to bring to them.
