Need to find a loan home for my beautiful girl , (loan lenght fully negotiable). believed to be a cob with a bit of clydesdale in ... she is 11 years old, been a driving mare for the first part of her life and was broken to ride, then a broodmare/companion for the last few years but was a happy hacker last summer ... apparently she was a fab driving , but i have never done that with her. Riding she was green and needed schooling , but was a lovely hack that never bucked , reared or bolted and next to never spooked , but she can be a little stubborn leaving yard sometimes but once she got going i couldnt fault her, consistency would be the key to get her out of that... so if she was to be ridden or driven she would need someone who is experienced to school and handle her well . She gets on with mares and geldings and is always the subbmissive one , and a great companion . Just been sat in a field as a ornament since last summer due to my pregnancy, so needs a confident handler , nothing nasty just a little bit impatient . she is approx 14.3-15hh . She is up to date with back , teeth and farrier . I no longer have her saddle but have got her bridle for her. If she is to be a project would like loaners to get to know her first not just rush her into everything . She is safe as anything even after being turned away you can easily jump up on her bareback and she wouldnt bat a eyelid, but needs work as can be strong leaving yard. Needs taking completely from the ground again. Must stay in warwickshire area and no under 18s . Prefers to live out all year round , does not need any bucket feed as a excellent doer ,only needs a light rug in snow storms, just needs a barefoot trim every 8-10 weeks. She is fine being trimmed by farrier but does not like being hot shod , needs cold shoes (if she was to be shod, and needs a calm farrier, due to bad experience in past), never been clipped , great to lunge. Loading can be hit and miss depending on trailer some she will walk straight on others she needs a bit of pursuading but always goes on eventually lol (she does not like boxs ).
