Needed as a matter of utmost urgency: Kogi State Judiciary (Financial Autonomy) Law. A legislation such as this has been long overdue in Kogi State. It is, indisputably, a precondition to the attainment of unfettered judicial consciences and competence in the administration of justice in the State. Anyone who cannot cannot buy into this idea must be considered an unconscientious nay-sayer, a merchant of retrogression and an enemy of the rule of law marked by a fearless, conscientious, well-equipped and independent Judiciary.
