Needed to take a few weeks off from working on major projects. Of course that didnt mean my fingers could sit idol :-) Having fun enjoying the summer right now hiking and riding my horses. But…in the heat of the past few days I decided to make a few necklaces. I think I will do a few more in the near future and then offer them up for sale. I have a some great beads I have collected over the years that are needing to be made into something. The red one is made using antique Venetian white hearts, natural turquoise and antique Navajo beads. The second one is made from antique Italian seed beads and a variety of Czech beads that look like old ancient stone artifacts in shapes like ammonite shells, basket weave tubes, goddess amulets, scarab beetles and trilobite fossils. The necklaces are strung in the style of how the Pueblo people make them. Fun to play :-)
