Negotiations Update for May 26, 2014. Our Main Negotiating team met today at the Local 13796 office to evaluate the data provided by the company, and forecasts made by the internationals actuaries regarding that data. This was in preparation for tomorrow when we meet with the company at 9:00 am. We think that we should mention that our sister, Karen Bryan, the Clerical Local 13796 President, lost her Father over the weekend. Our hearts go out to Karen, whose father Gilbert Vinzani, was a WWII veteran, and a retired USW 1066 member. We are very appreciative of her strength and dedication to the union through this difficult time. Its hard enough fighting this battle, but she continues to do so even while suffering this loss. We stand with our sister during this tough time. To our fellow members: thanks for having our backs! We hope everyone had a safe and relaxing Memorial Day. We will update tomorrow.
