Nehemiah 3:1 Eliashib the high priest and his fellow priests went - TopicsExpress

Nehemiah 3:1 Eliashib the high priest and his fellow priests went to work and rebuilt the Sheep Gate. They dedicated it and set its doors in place, building as far as the Tower of the Hundred, which they dedicated, and as far as the Tower of Hananel. In the rebuilding of the wall, there were certain places that were weak. Special attention was needed to finish the work. Lets look at your spiritual house, what are the soul-gateways that have given the enemy access to your heart. What are the places that are weak and need repair. In the verse above Eliashib the high priest dedicated the gate, went to the lord first and prayed and ask God for guidence and protection and help in this important indevor. A safe and a good repaired wall. When we are repairing a wall or a spiritual house, it should begain and end with God. Coming to him openly and expectantly with thanks giving in out hearts. Can you see the weak spots in your spiritual house, has the father of lies cause you to fear, be insecure, has pride wrapped its ugly fingers around your heart, is the love of the things in this world pulling at you, have you rebelled against what you know God wants from you. Are these things hindering you from experiencing the fullness of Gods love today, of Gods best for you. Start on your knees. Gods is waiting with all the right material, all the right tools to build you again to the strong man/women God knows lives inside you. Start with saying I am sorry please forgive me. Being forgiven is like the air after the rain. Clean, fresh, renewed. It is only a prayer away. Dont listen to the lies of the enemy. Listen to the voice of God. Hes calling you. Psalm 25:4-5 Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me,for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long. Trusting your heart to God today, praying we all walk away from our time with Jesus forgiven and set upright. Praise the name of Jesus. He is our source and our hope and our promise of life and that life filled with abundance. Praying that the holes in our walls be filled with Christ where we are safe from harm. In Jesus name amen. Love you all, we are family and God is our father. And fathers only want whats best for his children. I am reading a devotion by Devo Lady about the rebuilding of the wall. He has much insight.
