It was just the deck engagement switch, when you engage the deck the mower shuts off, there was also a hole in the left rear tire (Fixed it with a plug from my other neighbor) To fix the switch, I wrapped the switch with a wire tie and cut my grass with my new (old) mower. Just to be nice I cut his alley with it too, then gave him back his new battery.
