Neighbor went to lunch with me and I took her to the grocery store since she now has assistance. At least she is trying to do more for herself...she helped me load the truck for Stand Down. She is meticulously neat and organized in folding the clothes etc...and organizing my books. SHE also made the statement that her house looks awful but she is good about doing this at other homes. I told her we may tackle her house soon too...baby steps. First time in three years I have heard her admit she has a problem with hoarding. She also asked me if she could ride along to the VA outing tomorrow. I said sure...praised her for how organized she is and how much we can use her help getting the clothes put out. I really pray some day she will trust me enough to help her clean her house. She has electric and now can buy a few groceries for herself. This is HUGE progress for her. This is the same lady that was suicidal a few months ago. Maybe she needed a hand up. Another plus...she didnt take my clothes off my line today!! :-D.
