Neighborhood entertainment in Saudi Arabia is watching an inept butcher chop and saw off a mans hand. Was he a thief? Unlikely; but he was accused of such. I think the innocent civilians in the middle east are not the majority. It is not necessary for them to carry out the amputation imposed in sharia in this manner. No anesthesia, of course. And we have left all of Iraq defenseless against a horde of masochists who are butchering entire villages including children. This is why, yes, we must be the worlds policemen. Otherwise, look what fills the vacuum.
