Neil Redfearn has been full of praise of in-form midfield pair Lewis Cook & Luke Murphy following Tuesday nights win over Bournemouth. On Cook, Redfearn said: He was the best player on the pitch by a mile. You forget he’s 17-years-old, but what an immense talent. He’s got this presence, power and drive about him, and he can play. On Murphy, the head coach said: I thought he was excellent, Luke, and I think he’s been playing well since he was brought back into the side. I think the fans are warming to him now & they’re seeing what a good player he is. He’s one of the main players for us at this moment in time.
