Nelson Mandela was never a free agent throughout his life but a product and a property of ANC. In his death, he left millions for ANC and by this he was conveying a message that in life and death he remains ANC. There is deafening silence on the role he played before 1994 as a way of watering down history. Even post 1994 his role is distorted, Mandela never spoke about RECONCILIATION in isolation but always emphasized the dialectical relationship between RECONCILIATION AND RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT.
