Neptune Diner, 924 N. Prince St., follow-up inspection, Aug. 28. Food employees were in the food prep area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets or hats. Repeat violation. Torn rubber door gaskets, some being held on with electrical tape, found on the Victory refrigerator and the True Temp cooling unit and the walk-in cooler door. Gaskets are on order. Floor is torn in the hallway and at the walk-in freezer area, making it not smooth and easily cleanable. Repairs are on order. Lights are not shielded or shatterproof over the prep table in prep area. Light shield ordered. Rear exterior door located of the food facility has a gap at the top and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents and other animals. Food facility operator failed to post an original, valid Food Employee Certification in a location conspicuous to the consumer. Facility owner must email or fax a copy of the FEC to the Department as proof. Repeat violation from previous year.
