Nera Gospel: Luke 15:1-10 In today’s Gospel, there are 3 things that are mentioned, Coin, Sheep and Son. (Watch the video below to view the Gospel this Sunday) We just need to remember one thing in this Gospel. “If you are lost, someone will look for you”. Just like our parents who love us so much. They will look for us all day and all night without taking rest. But if we know the way then we can make our own path. This message goes by the message a while ago, “If you are lost, God will look for you”. But again, if your faith is strong and still, you will be brought in the church gathered as one community with God’s love and grace. We know where our path should be and where we belong to. Another message is “If you are lost because of sin, there is the mercy of God”. God is so much merciful and forgiving. If you are sinful, then ask for repentance from the Lord just like what is shown in the parable of The Prodigal Son. We cannot do this without the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We should give thanks that our God is merciful but we should not take advantage of it. We need to go to The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist to strengthen our faith in God and avoid temptations.
