Nessa is the newest dog member of Animal Rescue of Tracy. Sweet Nessa is about 10 months old and weighs only 6 pounds. The day after coming into our rescue it was discovered that she had canine parvovirus (aka Parvo). Parvo is a potentially life threatening virus that spreads rapidly through a dogs cells and intestinal tract. She was immediately admitted to a local veterinary hospital where she has been receiving intensive treatment to battle this awful and even painful virus. She is fighting hard to get well and her rescuers are doing whatever they can make sure she gets the care she needs. As an all-volunteer organization dependent on donations, we need your help to cover her expensive treatment. While she is still at the veterinary hospital receiving care, it is estimated that her medical care will cost approximately $1,000. With everyone’s help we can ALL get Nessa well again and on the road to recovery. **If 100 people could donate just $10 we would reach our goal!** Every little bit helps!
