Required: MINIMUM 2-3 years experience in two-way radios Preference: Motorola Products Required: 2-3 years experience in electronics Preference: Certified Electronics Technician Graduate The successful applicant will be required to: Maintain and service communications equipment and systems in a Service Center or at a customer site, which includes limited testing, repairing, modifying, and installing. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the following: · Install & remove 2-way radios in vehicles · Basic knowledge of audio, RF, digital, and microprocessor electronic circuits found communications equipment. · Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams. · Ability to operate fixed and adjustable measuring and testing equipment. · Ability to be available for emergency work at any time of day or night. (extremely rare) · Computer literate · Valid BC Driver’s license · Adaptability to custom jobs · Ability to work well with others Preference will considered for new out of tech school applicants!
