Networking – Business Speed Dating - Speakers Pyrmont Ultimo Chamber of Commerce presents CREATE, the Chambers annual creative industries networking event on Thursday 27 March 2014, 6pm to 8pm to be held at Fishburners event space on Harris Street, Ultimo. The Chamber invites all local Pyrmont Ultimo creative industries and Chamber business members to come together and exchange information about their business, whilst enjoying complimentary drinks and canapés. There will be meet and greet from 6pm, followed by our key note speaker at 6:30pm, followed by 5 minute business speed dating participation between businesses until 8pm. This is an opportunity for creative industries and local businesses to come together and exchange information and develop new opportunities for creative industries to flourish in the Pyrmont and Ultimo precinct. Google for Entrepreneurs presented by Sally-Ann Williams, Google Australia Sally-Ann Williams is the Engineering Community and Outreach Manager in Google’s Sydney offices responsible for Google’s relationships with startups and universities across Australia & New Zealand. She oversees Google’s efforts in entrepreneurship and startup engagement, CS and STEM outreach and research collaborations with computer science, engineering, and related departments. ‘Finding the Right Investor’ presented by Andrew Stead, Sydney Angels Andrew Stead is the Director New Ventures at NICTA responsible for the creation and growth of new businesses and managing the existing equity portfolio. He is very involved in the Sydney startup ecosystem, as a co-founder and director of investment group Sydney Angels, co-founder of the Ignition Labs accelerator program and serves on several startupboards.
