Never a dull day here at Baileys....... At the end of every day I throw my change into a bucket, and once its full, we take a vacation. Except this year. Today I am rolling coins to pay my tax bill. Whatever.....thats life. But, while I am here rolling coins to pay my taxes, I am also emailing a corporation in Texas who is MONTHS behind in paying me. My emails started of cordial and slowly escalated.....moving further up the ladder hoping that I could get a commitment on payment. Then I get a phone call from one of the guys whos head I jumped over. He told me that he was going to drive down here from Oxnard to kick my ass. I told him that would be fine, I could use the exercise. But, make sure you bring a check with you. He didnt find that amusing. I told him that I was rolling coins to pay my tax bill, and that I wouldnt need to do that if his company would just pay me seeing how they owe me more than what I owe in taxes. I also told him that the coins that I was rolling was all I had set aside for a vacation for my wife and I. We havent even been able to spend a three day weekend away since we started this business. I just received a call saying that the company is cutting me a check today and could expect to receive it by the end of the week. I love a challenge!
