Never a dull moment... :) A self appointed bad ass in disguise. Big dude. Takes my class with a buddy. They enjoyed it. Did everything I asked. An after class chat... Always do for first timers. Loved the Thai. Didnt do too bad either. Hes curious about Jiu-Jitsu now. I inform him a little. Seemingly good conversation. He asks to spar my boss... With a smurk. I say not likely. Goes on to tell me.... he, (my boss) should be willing to prove himself on a moments notice if hes a real martial artist.... I start laughing. Then he says he cant be beaten. I stop laughing. I get a little upset. I enlighten him on that in such a way that would make anyone uncomfortable. He walks of my mat & sits down. Happens to be fight night. All the fighters are now arriving. I go back up to the big dude & apologize for my hostilities and tell him he is now welcome & feel free to challenge anyone here to a fight, including my boss & myself. We would oblige. His friend gets nervous. starts talk him out of it. I tell him just sit back, relax, watch a few rounds & and make his request when hes ready. He does. He watches about 3 rounds.... Grabs his bag.... Then walks out the door. Haha! I dunno.... Maybe we werent good enough. ;)
