Never assume that every critic is a hater, some may be telling the truth.. However harsh a criticism may be there will always be some gems worth taking it. A critic is a person who knows the way but cannot drive the car... if knowing the way is what matters you will ignore his ignorance. Having facilitated lots of short meetings, i developed a habit of going moment by moment where i solely rely on my capacity to react to any situation well. sometimes this backfires as many expect a structured interaction where the sequence is told and followed in toto. I also developed a habit of telling right or wrong got it after every few sentences not to seek affirmation or approval but just a way to ensure that the audience is listening. Some have told that it is irritating and I should not do it. But the firm belief that the other words will dilute the irritant which is said largely due to a habit, an unconscious flow of words, made ,me utter them every time . But since i am going to talk about an art of coming back... I made an intent that i will walk the talk. Habits can be broken... methods improved, if what i want to share is strong enough in me. then i would want to share it not just somehow but perfectly. It took me three days of intense thought of a method for avoiding the irritants and guess i have found a solution! Every criticism , every negative feedback, every anti campaign will be shamed if earnest attempt is made to correct mistakes .. progress is by accepting, changing and improving.. Improvement and change for better is possible only when one is able to digest criticisms and take them in the stride. To become perfect one should consciously accept that one is imperfect and seek ways by questioning and knowing how to and what to correct and improve. Any criticism which says one cannot become something is wrong because anyone can become anything with focus, determination and practice. Every criticism should help to correct not to erase. I am game.. are you with me.. ps: Why I expect swach bharath to achieve some success at the least is because of an open admission that we have a problem. That is the first step for reform. ( The touching the nose in the following video is not a habit... the i dont care about how i look is a conscious choice but not an attitude. I firmly believe that dressing is important and there is a certain etiquette to be followed depending upon situations if one is a professional. However when freedom and exploration is the theme one needs to be natural!!)
