Never doubt that God isnt in the midst of your pain and struggles. Even when He seems distant, Hes always near. My plans today were to stay at home on my day off. God had other plans. In the middle of running unexpected errands I decided to get my car inspected...which was long overdue. After trying 3 shops that couldnt help me, I ended up at the Tread Quarters by Pembroke Mall. Seeing discouragement on my face and hearing some of my car troubles, one of the employees took the time to go over in detail why my car wouldnt pass inspection which led to further discouragement. As I waited for them to fix a couple minor issues, this employee checked in on me to see if I was ok. Right there in that shop I could see Gods hand as we shared our common connection to the Lord. This employee was able to speak words of encouragement to me that I needed to hear and offered potential car related assistance in the near future. It was no accident that God led me to that shop today on what was the employees final day working there. God is near to the broken-hearted and He cares about our struggles. His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. Can I get an Amen?
