Never forget Thank you to all the brave men and women that risked their lives in the hopes that they could save someone elses. Thank you to all of the men and women, the heroes, that worked tirelessly and endlessly to search through the rubble of the collapsed buildings to try to find survivors. Thank you to all the men and women who continue to fight for and defend our freedom, so that we are able to remember this sad day in history and mourn together for the lives lost in such a catastrophic event. My prayers and thoughts are with the families and friends of those who lost a loved one or loved ones. Today we remember where we were, what we were doing, who we were with when we found out the terrible events that were unfolding in NYC, DC, and Shanksville. Today we remember what it felt like to be afraid, mad, attacked, feel vulnerable, as a nation. Today we remember to hug and kiss and praise our loved ones that we are so lucky and blessed to be able to hug and kiss and praise. Be kind to loved ones, be kind to friends, be kind to those that you might not always see eye to eye with and even be kind to strangers. Make today a day of remembrance and a day of thanks for what we have. Never forget
