Never had a chance to meet Robin Williams, but I did get to see him live at Gator Growl at University of Florida back in 1982. Needless to say, he was amazing that night. He became a great dramatic actor, but everyone will especially remember the comedy. In comedy, timing is everything...and his timing was unsurpassed. The speed with how quickly his mind worked...absolutely brilliant. And I dont think I ever laughed harder than I did watching Mrs. Doubtfire. (In fact, he was supposedly planning a long awaited sequel.) Just so damn sad that he went through so much pain...so much that he apparently couldnt bear it any longer. Hes left a huge void behind...but hopefully he has found some measure of peace now I saw this pic of him wearing a Mets cap and I couldnt resist....
