Never in all my years of rescue have I ever seen anything as badly starved as Paddy. He is so thin his spine sticks up over his ribcage & torso. His eyes are sunken into his skull, you can see the outline of his skull on his face. His hip bones protrude high above his body. Impossible to tell if he is dehydrated as there is no skin to grab. He has all manner of scars & stinks of human urine. He is in the vets tomorrow, but I am really not sure we can pull this one back from the brink . No dog should ever reach this level of neglect.
