Never really cared for Joan Rivers, until I heard a piece on NPR today. They played a short clip of her destroying a heckler who apparently went to one of her concerts and was shocked when he was offended by something she said. In the end she called him an idiot, which he clearly was. I dont inderstand people who walk through life waiting/expecting/hoping to be offended. Theres enough that is truly awful. We dont need to go looking for it. We need to find a way to laugh whenever and wherever we can. Understanding that, and having endured hundreds of plastic surgeries, are just two things joan and i have shared.
