Never thought Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. could be running a scam and cheat its customers. I have been cheated and charged with Rs 1299 on my Kotak credit card for a service from Kotak Banks partner OneAssist. I have been charged Rs 1299 on my Kotak Mahindra Credit card. When I called the bank, they told me that they are sorry for this and asked me 3 days time for my transaction reversal and gave me complaint number 1-3180499527. After one week, when I did not hear from anyone, I called the bank again and they said they are sorry and gave me OneAssists phone number 1800407333333. I called the number and was addressed by Nida. I told her that I have been charged for a service which I had never asked for. Despite of listening to my problem, she was like again and again trying to sell her product to me. After 10 mins of my conversation with deaf ears, I told her simply that I do not want to listen to her and want my money refunded in any circumstances. She said she can give me discount of Rs 250 but can not help with refund. I asked her to connect with to her senior or someone authoritative, but she simply denied saying that there is only one person senior to her in the whole call centre and even he is busy in the meeting. When I lost all my control and shouted on her, she gave me the complaint number 1098933 and said she or her whole customer care department knows nothing about the refund and that I will be receiving a call from their refund department in 3 days. You tell me, did I ask for the service, did I sign anywhere for the service. I got a call from your executive regarding the service and I clearly told him that I do not want any such service. Then how dare you charge on my card. Is this all what I have got to do to call your company and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. again and again for my refund for something which I never wanted or opted. I can very well understand that its a scam in partnership with the Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. When it is mandatory to have credit card pin or online password to make any transaction then how come OneAssist can charge my card? I do not have time to call again and again to argue with bank and OneAssist for my refund. Whats my fault here? I need my money back and want to expose you people to the world.
