Never was a fan of DM. This track was mostly the Corbijn video in my memory. Then Johnny Cash did a version and all the lyrics hit me. Ok cool! Then i heard some cam girl play it and thought: Mmmm this is a rough track actually. Its full of synths. And most drums are electronic but dont sound like electronic. MMmmm even cooler. Then i realized François Kevorkian did the mix and it all came together even more. I hunted down the multitrack. I got no clue how to edit a multitrack as i edit normal 2 tracks so i fiddled a bit. But this track got dancefloor potential in my book. I dont have the time now to do a edit of it but why this isnt edited by Todd Terje Olsen to be stretched, dubbed beyond believe with less poppy parts and more with the dancefloor in mind i still dont understand. All the versions i could find are mediocre dance shit. But listen to the multitracks. All the synths are back into the mix but all these sounds ssooooo cool. Ah well maybe someday it find way to do a quick version of this.
