Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. (Ephesians 5:33 KJV) GOD you are faithful and true, everyday you show me your heart for people and thru their journey of life, I capture your heart in them. Im able to see parts of your nature shinning in and thru them. I have a heart for picking up and praying for hitchhikers. Its always an opportunity to testify of The Lord Jesus in my life, thru the power of testimony and to share. As I rounded the outskirts of Danevirke a regular site is the thumb out and someone wanting a ride. I pull the car over and an elder gentleman wants a ride to Palmerston North, we exchange names with a hand shake and set off, I ask, whats the reason he is going to Palmerston. North, he says my wife is in hospital, I say, whats happened, he in return says she has been loosing her mind for a little while, and the only treatment is in the Palmerston North hospital, there is no hospital in Danevirke, I tell him Im a preacher, and could we pray for her, he says that would be great. I said how long has she been in hospital and how often do you travel to see her. he said she has been in hospital for 8 months, and I travel to see her EVERY DAY,because I love her. In the moment, my heart kinda stopped, and said 8 months, and you travel 60 km there, 60km back, he said yes, I miss her, and she brings me joy, and I love her, You are prepared to walk 120km daily to see your wife, he said yes.I said can you tell me your love story so he shared, for 40 years he has been married, What a great love story. I said do you have a car, he said oh yes, Im a pensioner but cannot afford the petrol to get there everyday, so I walk, he was late 60s, I was so moved by his compassion, I was able to take him right to the door step of the hospital, and help out with a blessing from The Lord, as I am always blessed, God is faithful. Are you prepared to walk 120km for your wife if she was in Hospital, Pure love for your Wife, I guess thats how GOD is jealous for us too. Thank you Lord Jesus for allowing me to receive this blessing.
