New Affordable Flats to be Allocated Gibraltar Residential Properties (GRP) have now processed and analysed all the applications received from persons interested in purchasing an affordable home at Mons Calpe Mews or Beach View Terraces. This process has taken a little longer than originally envisaged but GRP are now in a position to commence the allocation of flats. Due to the Easter holiday period now being upon us, interviews will commence after the Easter Break on the 22nd April 2014. The first Applicants will be contacted by phone or email this week with a view to arranging appointments.Applicants will be called in the order of the Housing Waiting list. Once these applicants have been allocated flats, applicants on the Housing Waiting List after 9th December 2011 will have an opportunity to select a flat. Should any flats remain unallocated after this, then applicants who are eligible for Housing but not on the Housing Waiting List will have an opportunity. Other applicants, such as upgraders will then be eligible for any remaining flats. Applicants will be required to sign a reservation agreement and pay a £500 deposit by the end of the third business day after allocation of a flat.
