We all deserve to live in a thriving neighbourhood, to have a good paying job, and to know our tax dollars are used wisely. As you consider your choices for Kitchener Mayor, I want to remind you of two things: First, I have a concrete, positive and achievable plan to make our great city even better. It’s a plan built on thousands of conversations with residents just like you, years of experience, and plenty of research into whats working in other cities. Its also a plan anchored in my firm commitment to keep future tax rate increases at or below inflation. Second, more than any other candidate, I have the skills, know-how, experience and integrity to be Kitchener’s next Mayor. I know what it takes to get things done at City Hall. I know what it takes to get results from the provincial and federal governments. And, I know what it takes to bring community organizations together to achieve great things. I’ve done it before – and I can do it again as your Mayor. More than any other candidate for Kitchener Mayor, I offer strong leadership, proven experience and a positive plan for a better Kitchener.
