For Tibetan readers here is Contents page and what I believe is the Preface or Introduction by Ven Geshe Kelsang. tharpa This precious text, written by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in Tibetan is based on the root text of Mahamudra called The Main Path to the Attainment of Conqueror Buddha written by the First Panchen Lama who is the manifestation of Buddha Amitabha. This text contains an essential explanation of the four preliminary guides to Mahamudra and also an essential explanation of the five stages of the actual practice of Mahamudra which are: 1) identifying one’s own mind and meditation on tranquil abiding; 2) realizing emptiness and meditation on superior seeing; 3) meditation on the central channel, the yoga of the channels 4) meditation on the indestructible drop, the yoga of the drop; 5) meditation on the indestructible wind, the yoga of wind.
