New Brunswick ** Freezing Rain and Winter Storm Warnings in effect ** Light snow is falling throughout the province. The temperatures are from -16°C in Bathurst to 0°C at Point Lepreau. There are easterly winds at 5 to 15 km/h although the Fundy region is seeing gusts of 40 to 60 km/h. Be prepared for a messy day with snow this morning changing through freezing rain and ice pellets to rain by this afternoon. There are freezing rain warnings issued The northwest has a less of a chance of freezing rain but winter storm warnings are in effect for that part of the province. In the south there could be up to 10 cms of snow before the changeover. The northwest could get 15 cms of snow. Rainfall accumulations are forecast to be 3 to 5 mms except 5 to 10 mms in the southwest. Temperatures this afternoon will be from -1°C to +4°C in the south and -4°C to -2°C in the north. Overnight the temperatures will be -3°C to +1°C. The east winds are expected to be at 15 to 20 km/h, gusting to 30 km/h in northeastern coastal areas. In Dauversière is currently cloudy with light snow. The temperature is -16°C with a light east wind. The relative humidity is 77% and barometric pressure is falling from 1029 hPa. The Dauversière area should see snow this afternoon with a temperature of -2°C. There is certainly a messy day ahead for the entire province.
