New Castle County Police Department News Release September 19, 2014 Crime Alert The New Castle County Division of Police would like to warn residents about reported, attempted occupied burglaries in Hockessin. During the past several weeks, County officers have responded to the residential neighborhoods of Hockessin Green and Hockessin Valley Falls in response to reported burglaries. During the evening hours, the unknown suspect(s) have attempted to gain entry through secured windows and doors. In both cases the suspect(s) were interrupted by the homeowners and fled the area. The New Castle County Division of Police is requesting citizens report any suspicious individuals or vehicles they observe in the area of their residence. Residents are reminded to always lock their doors and windows, utilize alarms and outdoor lighting if the residence is equipped. Any witnesses that can offer information regarding these crimes, or that have exterior surveillance cameras in the noted areas, please call the New Castle County Police Department at 395-8110 (ATTN: Detective David Graham) or you can email at [email protected].
