New Class! Want your dog to put her own toys away? Go get you the TV remote? Wow family and friends with cool tricks and abilities? Or to perform those too-cute tricks like weaving through your legs or playing dead? Advanced Clicker Training Tuesday May 20th at 7 PM with Lauren Westa In Advanced Clicker Training we will focus on strengthening our shaping skills and acquiring the tools needed to train our dogs to perform advanced behaviors and “tricks”. This class will cover concepts such as capturing vs. shaping vs. prompting, creating successful behavior chains, and the difference between verbal and non-verbal markers. The goal is for everyone to have fun with their dogs while improving their training skills. This class is designed for people (and their dogs!) who have basic obedience down and now want to spend some time working on unique and fun behaviors. Prior training experience is required and will be evaluated by the instructor.
