New Co-directors Laurita Moscatelli and Laurita Moscatelli, left, and Karina Lutz Karina Lutz at New Dawn As New Dawn Earth Center begins its 8th year of service to the Earth Community, it warmly welcomes its new co-director team, Laurita Moscatelli and Karina Lutz. A familiar face at New Dawn, Laurita Moscatelli develops outstanding school programs throughout the year and recently launched an elder program, which is available for local nursing homes. She successfully collaborates with several Rhode Island public and private schools, Rhode Island Families in Nature, the Blackstone Parks Conservancy, S.P.I.N. (Spirit in Nature) and offers family programs on the second Sunday of each month. Karina Lutz joins the team with a focus on development and fundraising. She comes to New Dawn with a wealth of experience in nonprofit development, and is well known in Rhode Island for her work on clean energy and peace activism. Karina has been trained by Eco-philosopher Joanna Macy in The Work That Reconnects and will offer this workshop at New Dawn. Look to New Dawn for more excitement from this dynamic duo!
