That is why we announced that an NDP government would reinstate the federal minimum wage and incrementally bring it to $15. Today, Tom Mulcair’s NDP will force a debate in the House on the federal minimum wage because we believe we can act now. It is a question of leadership. While the Conservatives are caught in endless scandals, New Democrats are focused on the issues that matter to families. With only a year left before the next election, we will work harder than ever to show Canadians that we can offer them real change.
