New Glory Devotional : IRRESISTIBLE WISDOM - Sunday January 19, 2014 By Pastor Ayodeji Agbelusi Memorise: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. Luke 21:15 Read : James 1:5-7 Nobody dares stop the force of God. God is mightier than the mightiest and thats why Hes the only Almighty. We call Him omnipotent because he has all the powers on earth and in heaven. He conquers and is never to be conquered. His power is beyond human comprehension and no other power can compete with the greatness of His might. He used His power over Pharaoh and the entire nation of Egypt and the news remains fresh forever. If theres anything you need to associate with, its the power of the Almighty. In Psalms 62:11 the bible says: God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. You need a taste of His power and wisdom to succeed in life and to stay above issues and temptations. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:1 Its begins with walking with God. You need His life in order to have His traits. It wont come cheap, but through diligence and perseverance you cant wait on Him to receive the blessings that come through waiting. Solomon offered his offerings in faith and prayed unto God for wisdom and direction and he became the wisest man that ever lived. He was rich, honoured and blessed round about. You need to start behaving wisely. Your attitude to God and His work will show your level if wisdom or foolishness in this age. Its absolute foolishness to reject the counsel and call of God in these perilous times. Its obvious that there is no solution to the problems of man except through God. You cannot quench the war against your marriage, business and career with human wisdom. You must of necessity be helped by God in order not to end as a victim of circumstances. Beloved, Proverbs 4:7 says, Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. God is ready to release you into seasons of irresistible wisdom if your mind is made up to be what He wants you be. Therefore begin to ask in faith and get set to emerge a winner in all areas of your life. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:5-6. As you begin to operate in the wisdom of God from this day, no other power on earth will be strong enough to stop you from shining in Jesus mighty name. Pray with me : Father, I need this wisdom that comes from above. I want to stand out and be what you have created me to be.
