New Horizons for 2015 After 15 years of dedicated service, heart and soul, Andrew Lloyde, the Full-time Course Director, has decided to embrace change and new adventures ahead. He will be departing ACA at the end of 2014. He leaves the course with such a solid and strong foundation and his influence will remain as will his immense contribution to the training offered here. I will lose a mate – someone I have known and worked alongside for 33 years either as an actor or as a colleague. But I know he’ll be back for teaching and projects in the coming years and it will be my distinct pleasure to welcome him back. We now welcome ADAM COOK – a man deeply committed and gifted and ready to take both the course and ACA on its next evolutionary step. As you will see below, Adam’s contribution, Adam’s contribution at ACA will be far-reaching, intelligent and informed. It is my great pleasure to welcome him and work alongside him. I also want to take this opportunity to announce another position and a new one here at ACA – that of Head of Performance. This role encompasses the responsibility of ensuring all students are receiving the exact skills, culture, philosophy and experience in order to be ready for the rigours and responsibility of performance. I am thrilled to announce our very own ANTHONY SKUSE is now Head of Performance at ACA as of 2015. Anthony has been working at ACA and making his enormous contribution since the early 1990s. His teaching has grown over the years to include all years and pretty much all terms. He holds the fundamental culture and rigour of ACA and of the industry itself. An accomplished director and a truly gifted teacher, he will be working with the students for more hours as of next year and through more projects. We honour and acknowledge what he brings to ACA and will now continue to bring in deeper and richer ways. So, big changes at ACA – new energy, growth and a renewed perspective on our new home and all that can be achieved. Onwards.
