New Job AX Support Consultant - 18795 Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: Cambridge, England Salary: Negotiable We are currently seeking an AX Support Consultant to begin work on a permanent basis for our client, specializing in communications solutions, based in Cambridge. Your role will be to assist with the implementation of MS AX2012 and on-going support & development which include: - Form layout and functionality modification - Report writing & modification - Data extraction, reshaping and uploading from legacy systems into AX - User Administration - Integration of AX with In-House Data Warehouse Successful candidates must fulfil the following criteria: - Familiar with most modules within MS AX2012 - especially Purchase, Sales, General Ledgers & Product Information Management - Basic System Administration 1 - Maintaining Users - Creation, assignment of roles & security - Customising Menus and Menu Items - Creation & Modification of SQL Reporting Services Reports within MS AX2012 r2 2 - Define/Modify & Extend Data Sets - Apply hidden parameters to filter data relative to user - Expose runtime parameters for user options - Develop, Test & Deploy within 3 tier environment (Dev, Test & Live) Desirable skills or experience: - Experience analysing, amending and extending existing AX functionality - Experience creating new workflows and extending existing workflows - Experience of using MS AX2012 AIF & Web Services - Experience of SQL Server Analysis Services for the creation & modification of data cubes - AtlasXL - SQL SSIS - Integration with SharePoint 2013 to standards & elements covered by MS Ax2012 Dev 1 course and to standards & elements covered by MS AX2012 Reporting course Personal attributes: - A very adaptable and dynamic individual - Good Verbal communication skills essential - Needs to be able to Communicate equally well with technical and non-technical personnel - A logical thinker and problem solver - Able to apply textbook knowledge to a practical situation and deliver an effective outcome If this is the exciting challenge you have been waiting for, please do get in contact with us.
