New Job Accounts Payable Specialist - PXH/11802 Industry: Accountancy Job Type: Temporary Location: Halesowen, England Salary: £20000 - £24000 per annum Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Halesowen Duration: 12 month Fixed Term Contract Salary: up to £24k pa greenwellgleeson are recruiting an AP Specialist for an international business based in Halesowen. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (with possible 6 month extension) with a salary paying up to £24k pa dependant on experience. The Role Work as part of a team with the AP Team Leader and other AP Specialists Validate and process expense claims for UK entities, to include supporting the AP Team Leader with on-site presentations of the expense policy Coordinate the in house approval of invoices Process AP invoices once approved in the in-house indirect purchasing system Be responsible for and coordinate approval roles and limits related to workflow Support in relation to escalated invoice mismatches Manage coding matrices and review and support issue resolution in relation to coding of non-PO invoices Support issue resolution in relation to payments and send reclamations/requests for credit notes Support intercompany reconciliation process Support tax department including compliance with tax guidelines Implement the development of AP processes, policies, rules and authorization matrix/limits Your Profile Previous experience of accounting in a large global company. Willing to travel on a regular basis (UK & Overseas) Excellent knowledge of at least one finance system used within the country/area Extensive experience in processing and validating expense claims Good presentation and communication skills Well documented and proven knowledge of transactional finance including tax rules. Up to date knowledge of the AP process Service minded with good ability to create relations. Own transport required
