The role is permanent offering a fantastic salary and benefits package. My client is looking for Physical Asset Management Consultants to help their clients to address their asset challenges and realise their asset management ambitions through the effective use of information technology. The key responsibilities of the job will include: * Feasibility studies and Business Case development * Project scoping * Business process mapping / modelling * Providing asset management subject matter expertise & industry knowledge * Business requirements capture * Business benefits tracking * Business Development - contributing to the growth of the team * Building key client relationships and influencing stakeholders Key Responsibilities Essential skills, experience and knowledge: My client is looking for the highest calibre individuals who exhibit the following attributes, experience and skills that enable them to deliver rapid value to their clients: * A strong academic and continuing professional development record, ideally including a relevant degree or management qualification; ¬ We are looking for individuals who have experience of working in a role: designing, implementing and/or supporting asset management IT systems; * Experience will have been gained either internally within a utility / transport infrastructure / asset management type organisation or gained in a consultancy firm who advises asset management type clients; * Excellent consulting skills are a must; facilitation, presentation skills, gaining entry and building rapport, innovative thinking, managing conflict, senior level engagement, building consensus and obtaining buy-in. * A proven knowledge, and application in project lifecycles of the following: ¬ Business Analysis ¬ Business process consulting ¬ Business / Solution Requirements capture ¬ Operating Model Design ¬ Workshop facilitation ¬ Business case development ¬ Business benefits management * Experience of business development along with exposure to project delivery is essential; * A background working for an external management consultancy or for an internal consulting team within Industry is critical; Skills and Experience Desirable skills, experience and knowledge: * Experience of physical asset management delivery processes within in the following industries: Utilities, Transport, Petrochemicals, Mining or other similar asset intensive organisations * Demonstrable understanding of the stages in the physical asset lifecycle * Knowledge of physical asset management best practices and standards - e.g. PAS 55 / ISO 55000 & IS0 31000 * Understanding / experience of how UK regulatory bodies influence asset management organisations * Experience in the development, production and execution of Asset Management Policies, Strategies and Plans * High-level understanding of the key functional capabilities of Enterprise Asset Management IT systems to support asset management business processes * Involvement in industry knowledge groups e.g. the Institute of Asset Management Person Profile Essential Personal Qualities: * A strong teamwork ethic with a proven ability to work collaboratively; * Diligent and proactive approach to work * Strong ability to demonstrate a forward thinking approach to everyday work, taking a strategic view of situations and thinking of the bigger picture * Outstanding communications and interpersonal capabilities - both written and verbal; * Highly developed critical thinking, interpretative and analytical abilities; * A strong eye for detail and keen focus on results, with a flexible can do approach If you feel you have the necessary skills and would like to know more , please send over your latest CV and contact details and I will call you to discuss in more detail.
